Occidental College

Stephen Bernabe joins Occidental College Women’s Volleyball in July 2025 with an extensive resume of excellence.

Of Bernabe’s previous 11 seasons coaching at the collegiate level prior to Oxy, his most recent stint came with Cal State Los Angeles. He was a member of the Golden Eagles’ 2023 coaching staff that won the NCAA Division II Championship.

Bernabe’s success resonated at the high school level as well, coaching to six CIF Championships, while winning four titles.

Bernabe currently coaches for the San Gabriel Elite volleyball club and resides in Alhambra.
