Tatiana Cava joins Occidental as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s goalies, along with recruiting in July 2025.
Cava earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Concordia University Irvine. She played for the Golden Eagles from 2020-23, helping the squad to a 5th place in the GCC Conference tournament. She received Division II Honorable Mention All-America honors and was a two-time All-GCC Selection.
Prior to CUI, Cava competed for Fullerton College (2018-2019) where her team won the CCCAA State Championship in 2019. She received First Team All-America honors in 2018, was a two-time All-OEC selection, and a two-time All-Tournament selection at the 3C2A Championships.
In high school she competed for Diamond Bar High School (2015-2018) where she received MVP in 2018. She was a two-time All-Palomares selection, earning a first team nod once. She was named First Team All-CIF in 2018, Defensive Player of the Year 2016-2017, and Rookie of the Year in 2015-2016.
Cava graduated from Concordia University Irvine with a degree in psychology and a Master's in Educational Leadership with a Specialization in Emotional Learning, Character, and Ethics from Concordia University Irvine.
