ORANGE, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2007) - The Tigers
remain scoreless after their second 3-0 loss in two games, this
time to non-conference Chapman University at Wilson Field on Friday
night.
Chapman got on the board during the sixth
minute of play and scored a second time before the break. Just
three minutes into the second half the Tigers allowed the third and
final Panthers goal while they were unsuccessful in netting a ball
of their own.
Each team took eight shots. Two attempts came
off the foot of Occidental freshman Rob Riccardi.
Both Tad Garrett and
Alfie Berumen played all 90 minutes of action in
the loss.
Oxy falls to 0-2 on the season as the Panthers
snapped a three game losing streak for their first win of the young
season.
The Tigers will travel to La Sierra University
on Sunday to take on the Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m.
