LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2010) – The Occidental College Tigers, despite having a strong offensive presence in today's match, walked away with a 0-0 tie vs. UC Santa Cruz on Patterson field.

The Tigers had 25 shot attempts, 12 of which were on goal.  Tiger defenders Liz Martin and Andrea Loh alongside forward Elissa Minamishin, combined for 13 shot attempts.  

Both the Tigers goalie Tayler Renshaw and UC Santa Cruz goalie Janneke Lang, were able to keep the ball out of their respective nets combining for 16 saves throughout the double overtime game.

The Tigers (7-1-2, 4-1-1 SCIAC) will play University of La Verne at home on Wednesday Oct. 13 at 4:00pm.
