Garcia's five goals, Fujiyama's seven steals and Rachel Adeleye's (Elizabeth, N.J.) 18 saves carried the Tigers to a victory over CSU Monterey Bay.
The two teams played back and forth through the first two quarters with Oxy maintaining a 5-4 advantage at the half.
With the score tied at six midway through the third, the Otters scored on a breakaway goal to take their first lead of the game, but it wouldn't last.
Garcia, who scored four goals in the second half, tied the game on the Tigers next possession.
Adeleye made a save that led to a counter-attack goal by Garcia to put Oxy back on top, and the senior attacker added another score before the end of the quarter to give Oxy a 9-7 advantage heading into the fourth.
Fujiyama came away with two steals late in the game to preserve the victory.
