LOS ANGELES — The Tigers went ahead, fell behind and tied it up only to let the game slip away in the final minute of the second overtime period against the Regals on Saturday.

Players of the Game: Facing a 2-1 deficit with less than 5 minutes remaining, Alana Hillman subbed back into the game in favor of defender Taryn Ng, giving Oxy another scorer on the field. 

Just moments later she received a pass from Julie Khil and found the back of the net, giving the Tigers the equalizer they needed.

Julie Khil scored the Tigers' first goal off a deflected shot from Hillman in the 33rd minute, putting the Tigers up 1-0. Oxy held its lead until Kristen Bergseth and Shelbie Blevins gave the Regals a 2-1 advantage with goals in the 74th and 78th minutes.

Kali Youngdahl ruined Oxy's night with the game-winning goal with less that 1 minute to play in the second 10-minute overtime period. 

Play of the Game: Dallas Gunny saved a penalty kick with a fully-extended dive to her right in the final minute of regulation after the referee awarded called a hand ball against the Tigers inside the box. 

Up Next: The Tigers get a chance to bounce back against Redlands at 7 p.m. at Jack Kemp Stadium.
