WHITTIER — Lindsay Albino led the way with three goals and Morgan McClafferty added two — including the game-winner — as the Occidental women's water polo team erased a halftime deficit to beat Chapman 8-7 in the SCIAC Championship tournament on Friday night.
The Tigers face Cal Lutheran at 11:30 a.m. in the consolation championship game today at Whittier.

With 1 minute left on the clock and a 6-on-5 advantage, McClafferty scored her second goal of the game, putting Oxy up 8-7.
The Tigers converted 6 of 9 power plays. Katie Gibbs drew four exclusions and Albino drew three.
Oxy trailed 4-3 at half before going on a run at the beginning of the second half to take the lead.
"We made a few mistakes early on and they took advantage," Oxy head coach Larry Zubrin said. "But the team regrouped and we made a few adjustments with our offense that resulted in more production."
Kelsey Shyba, Lizzy Kosin and Gibbs each scored a goal.
Geneva Perez made 12 saves, including several key blocks in the fourth quarter to hold off the Panthers.
