LOS ANGELES — Nicole Castro, Julie Khil and Erin Iacullo all scored as the Occidental women's soccer team beat La Verne 3-1 at Jack Kemp Stadium on Saturday.

Michaela Tsuha had a pair of assists, setting up Castro's goal with Khil, and Iacullo's score. Iacullo and Alana Hillman assisted Khil's seventh goal of the season and fourth in SCIAC play.

Khil was the 2014 SCIAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Year. 

The Tigers scored first and took a 2-1 lead into halftime.

Alexa Smith had the Leopards goal.

Sydney Tomlinson and Dallas Gunny each played a half in goal for the Tigers.

Season Impact: The Tigers improve to 4-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in SCIAC play. La Verne falls to 5-5-2 and 3-4-1.
