But with the scored tied and less than 1 minute left, Stephanie Garrett found Sam Keary for the go-ahead goal and the Occidental women's lacrosse lost its third heartbreaker in a row, 11-10 at Redlands on Saturday.
Season Impact: The Tigers fall to 6-7 overall and 0-6 in SCIAC play, having dropped their last three games by one goal each.
The Tigers lost by the same score to CMS on Wednesday night.
Redlands improves to 9-5 and 3-4.
The Tigers trailed during the first half, but played much better in the second half, taking the lead on a goal by Sierra Slack with 12:32 left to play and again on a score by Reese with 9:17 remaining.
Redlands went on a 3-1 in the last 5 minutes to escape with the victory.
Slack added two goals for Oxy, Katie Leyden grabbed six ground balls and Alessandra Quaroni had two caused turnovers.
Keary led Redlands with five goals and Garret had three goals and two assists.
