THOUSAND OAKS -- The Occidental women's water polo team traveled to Cal Lutheran for a pair of games in the Tina Finali Invitational on Saturday. Oxy opened with Toronto and then faced Cal State East Bay.

Game 1: Toronto 8, Oxy 4

Lori Berberian led Oxy with three goals and one drawn exclusion, Monica Chernoff added one goal and an assist, and Chandler Luebbers had an assist.

"We created great opportunities in the first half," Oxy coach Jack Stabenfeldt said. "Our defense in the third and fourth quarters kept us in the game."

Game 2: Cal St. East Bay 18, Occidental 5

Lee led Oxy with two goals in Game 2, but the Tigers couldn't keep up with Cal State East Bay. Luebbers had a goal and an assist, and Berberian and Chernoff each added a goal.

Brianna Ruiz and Beverly Ayers each scored three goals to lead CSU East Bay.
