LOS ANGELES — The Women's Water Polo team fell 12-3 to the Chapman Panthers in Wednesday night's SCIAC match up at Taylor Pool.
Despite allowing six unanswered goals to open the game, the Tigers bounced back in the second and third periods, receiving goals from Hi'ipoi Lee, Monica Chernoff, and Lori Berberian. The difference in the game proved to be five straight Panther goals to close out the game in the fourth.
Lee, the Tigers lone senior, had a solid game, notching one goal on six shots and recording a team-high six steals. Chandler Luebbers notched two assists and a steal.
Looking Ahead: The Tigers are back in action tomorrow night (3/29) to face the Virginia Military Institute at Taylor Pool.
