LOS ANGELES — The Occidental women's lacrosse team closed out the regular season and senior day with a 25-5 rout of Whittier at Jack Kemp Stadium on Saturday.

The Tigers finish the regular season 9-5 overall and 7-3 in SCIAC play. Oxy will advance to the four-team SCIAC postseason tournament as either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed depending on the result of Pomona-Pitzer's final game of the season against Chapman on Wednesday.

The Tigers will play Pomona-Pitzer in the semifinal on May 1 at home if they are the No. 2 seed and away if they are the No. 3. 

Oxy celebrated its four seniors Neah Bois, Madisyn Hallare, Shai Goodman and Nicole Litt who have all had outstanding careers.

Hallare and Alessandra Pelliccia led the Tigers with five goals each, Goodman and Annie Dolan had four, and Lauren Di Lella had three.

Oxy jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first 13 minutes and ran away with the easy victory.
