Redlands, CA — The Occidental men's soccer team took their first loss in six matches in a tough game at the University of Redlands.

The Bulldogs scored in the 15th minute when forward Ethan Kovach crossed the ball to midfielder Collin ChubbFertal who put the ball in the back of the net. The Tigers responded in the 35th minute when an Oxy corner kick bounced off of multiple players and into the goal. However, Redlands managed to score the game winner just a few minutes later. Bulldogs defender Arian Mogharei played a ball to forward Quinn Richards whose hard shot went into the goal to give Redlands the lead. The Bulldogs outshot the Tigers 15-6 on the night. Oxy goalkeeper Scott Drazan came up big for his team making five saves throughout the match.

Next Game: Oxy will look to respond with a win when they host Pomona-Pitzer for Homecoming on Saturday night.
