Los Angeles, CA — The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens beat the Occidental Tigers 4-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Sagehens started fast with a goal in the seventh minute when forward Helena Robinowitz scored with defender Ciannah Correa providing the assist. The Sagehens scored six minutes later on a goal from forward Anna Ponzio with an assist from Robinowitz. Oxy responded in the 25th minute with a goal from midfielder Ella Endo. In the second half, Pomona-Pitzer scored twice in a one minute span with goals from Correa and Ponzio. The Sagehens outshot the Tigers 10-5 in the match. Tigers goalkeeper Ingrid Odmark made four saves throughout the game.

Next Game: The Tigers will host Cal Lutheran on Wednesday night.
