Pasadena, CA — The Tigers scored 4 goals in the second half to beat the Caltech Beavers on Saturday and advance to the SCIAC playoffs.

The scoring started in the 49th minute when forward Kia Mackey scored thanks to an assist from midfielder Ella Endo. Endo would go on to double the Oxy lead just a few minutes later with a goal of her own off of midfielder Chloe Hetzel's assist. In the 71st minute, Mackey got her second goal of the game with an assist from defender Isabella Bonomi to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead. Oxy midfielder Madison Delmonte added another goal in the final minute assisted by forward Rachel Kolpa. The Tigers outshot the Beavers 27-4 throughout the match. Caltech goalkeeper Megan Robertson had a busy day making 13 saves while Oxy goalkeeper Maggie Baird made 3.

Next Game: The Tigers will play against Pomona-Pitzer on the road on Thursday in the first round of the SCIAC Postseason Tournament.
