Orange, CA —  In the first SCIAC game of the season, the Occidental men's soccer team lost to Chapman, 1-0.  

The Tigers were tied at half, but in minute 69 the Panthers' Aidan Wall scored the first goal of the game.  Oxy matched Chapman in the second half with shots on goal.  Junior Joey Schwartz led the way with three shots that almost changed the course of the game.  However, despite their continued efforts, the Tigers were unable to get past the Panthers' defense and goalkeeper Chandler Siemonsma.
