Redlands, CA —  The Occidental women's soccer team made a long journey out to the University of Redlands on Wednesday, but walked away with a 2-1 loss.

The Bulldogs, having lost to the Tigers in the previous meet up, were motivated to turn things around on their home turf.  They came out and scored the first goal in minute 30 by Sami Salinas, assisted by Malia Kuhl.  In the second half, they continued to push their lead with a second goal by Nolan Medonca.  Oxy was able to come back in the final minutes with an unassisted goal by Ella Endo, getting the Tigers up on the scoreboard.  Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time for the Tigers to tie up the game with their renewed motivation.  

Next Game: The women head out to CMS on Saturday, September 25 for a 4:00 p.m. game.
