Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental College men's soccer team played their last regular season game against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen at Jack Kemp Stadium on Saturday.

The Tigers were ready to give it their all in this one, with seeding for the conference tournament on the line. The same could be said for the Kingsmen however, as both teams were playing intense defense and the game would. The 1st half would come to end in a tie at 0-0.

Early in the second half the Kingsmen would get close to a goal with a nice kick but it went off the crossbar and the game remained tied at 0. Riley Nyhan had a good game in goal and went a perfect 7-7 on save opportunities to allow the game to eventually finish in a 0-0 tie.

Next Game: With the tie, the Tigers were able to secure the 2nd seed in the SCIAC tournament and after a win for Pomona-Pitzer in their postseason game, Oxy will battle the Sagehens for the right to compete in the SCIAC tournament championship on Friday November 4th at 7:00pm.
