Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Tigers started out strong against the La Verne Leopards with a sprint win from Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR). Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) was the first person to score as the Tigers took control of the first quarter. Then, Abigail Lavold (Tacoma, WA) found the back of the net. During the second quarter, the Tigers fought hard and towards the end, Abigail Lavold scored again. Abigail Anderson (Oak Park, CA) took a look from the center and found the perfect shot. As the Tiger's defense ramped up, so did the offense, with Abigail Anderson and Abigail Lavold scoring back-to-back shots in the third quarter. The Tigers played out the fourth quarter and the game ended in the Leopard's favor, 14-6. In total, the Tigers had fourteen steals, three of which were by Olivia Montgomery. The Tigers also drew six exclusions on the Leopards, three of which were by Abigail Anderson. 

The Leopards offense was led by Jassmine Kezman, who had four goals.
