Redlands, CA — The Occidental Tigers faced the Redlands Bulldogs on Saturday. In the first quarter, the Tigers and Bulldogs battled it out, with the Tigers getting a sense of their communication and defense. Then, in the second quarter, Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) deposited a hard shot in the net. On a powerplay, Abigail Anderson (Thousand Oaks, CA) put it in the cage, bringing the Tigers back into the game. In the third, Kayla Lin found the back of the net again but this time on a powerplay. The Tigers battled hard defensively with a total of seven steals. Abby Lavold (Tacoma, WA) led the Tigers on drawn exclusions with four. The Tigers fought hard but fell short to the Bulldogs with an ending score of 7-3. 

Holly Kvanvig of Redlands led the Bulldogs with four goals.
