Pasadena, CA — The Occidental Tigers faced the CalTech Beavers for their second match during competition season. The game started off strong with Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) and Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR) both scoring in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) scored her first goal. Abigail Anderson (Oak Park, CA) got the first out of the three exclusions she drew, leading to a penalty shot scored by Abigail Lavold (Tacoma, WA). Abigail Lavold had a total of five goals in the game and played a huge role in leading the Tigers to success. In the third quarter, Lily Collins Carson (Bend, OR) found the back of the net in her first goal of the night. Lily Collins Carson scored again in the fourth quarter and so did Kayla Lin, finding the perfect opening on a powerplay. Overall, the Tigers had ten steals and drew eleven ejections on the Beavers. The Tigers dominated the game and ended with a win of 11-5. 

Emma Gurcan led the Beavers with four goals.
