Los Angeles, CA – The Occidental women's lacrosse team hosted Willamette University last Wednesday for their seventh season game. The first three periods were dominated by the Tigers. In the final period, Willamette put up a tough fight to tie 2-2. Fortunately, Oxy's lead gave them enough edge to take home the win!

This match brought out three outstanding Tigers who led their team to victory with four goals by Emma Cho, Bella Litt, and Annie Dolan. Litt, in addition to Ashley Fletcher, led the Tigers with two assists each. Together, the Tigers kept Willamette at bay by only allowing eight shots the entire game. 

The Bearcats put a lot of pressure on the Tigers forcing six turnovers. Goalie, Shelby Sawyer, was able to keep Willamette in the game by saving 18 shots by the Tigers.
