Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Tigers went up against the California Lutheran Regals for their first game on Saturday. Goalie Allison Smith (La Crescenta, CA) blocked a penalty shot to start off the game. The Tigers battled out the first quarter and in the second quarter, Abigail Anderson (Oak Park, CA) scored with an assist from Abigail Lavold (Tacoma, WA). Then, Abigail Anderson shot and scored twice in the third quarter with both assists from Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI). As the Tigers regrouped and headed into the fourth quarter, Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) fired a shot into the goal with an assist from Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR). The Tigers had a total of seven steals and drew six exclusions. The Regals ended the game on top with a score of 15-4. 

Lexi Rond led the Regals with three goals.

Goalie Allison Smith had three saves and goalie Alexandra Moye (San Diego, CA) had four saves. 

In the Tiger's second game of the day, they faced Ottawa Arizona. To start off the first quarter, Abigail Anderson (Oak Park, CA) scored two back-to-back goals with assists from Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) and Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR). As the Tigers battled hard in the second quarter, Jillian Miller beat the goalie and put it in the goal with an assist from Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA). Then. Abigail Lavold (Tacoma, WA) took a penalty shot and scored. The Tigers kept their defense up in the third quarter, and throughout the whole game, with a total of five steals and thirteen drawn exclusions. On a power play in the fourth quarter, Marisa Lipari deposits a shot in the goal with the assist from Olivia Montgomery. Although the Tigers fought hard, the game ended in favor of Ottawa 12-5. 

Kylee Wesemann led Ottawa with four goals.
