Los Angeles, CA — The Tigers went head-to-head against Macalester College. Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) was the first to score, not once, but twice to start the Tigers off strong. Abigail Lavold (Tacoma, WA) followed with a shot in the last minute of the first quarter. As the Tigers held their defensive ground in the second and third quarter, Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR) and Abigail Anderson (Oak Park, CA) each found the back of the net. The Tigers were down one point at the start of the fourth quarter, yet they knew exactly what steps, energy, and communication they needed to have to win. Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) set the tone for the fourth quarter by scoring. After a full timeout, Abigail Lavold and Jillian Miller found perfect shots into the cage. The Tigers held Macalester off from scoring for the entirety of the fourth quarter, leaving the Tigers to win 8-6. 

Annika Krueger led Macalester with three points.
