Los Angeles, CA – The Occidental women's lacrosse team headed down to Chapman University for another conference match. After trailing the Panthers in the first period, the Tigers tied in the second and took the lead in the third. Unfortunately, Chapman's secured the victory by winning the fourth period ending the game 18-11, Panthers.

Regardless of the score, the Tigers always try to put their best foot forward and play until the clock strikes zero. Belle Litt is back on the leaderboard this week to lead the Tigers with her three goals and three assists. Ariel Shweiki, Grace Hernandez, Dylan Herbert, and Haley Jones earned four ground balls each. Goalie Haley Jones had an astounding 13 saves during her time on the field. Overall, the Tigers had 11 goals, 7 assists, and 23 ground balls.

The Panther's aggressiveness and athleticness posed many challenges for the Tigers. Anna Klose and Emily Allen helped lead their team to victory with four goals each.

Next Game: Oxy will host Cal Lutheran on Saturday, April 2 at Patterson Field at 9:00 a.m.
