Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Men's Water Polo team played Redlands University in a big SCIAC matchup on Wednesday. Danny Miller scored first for the Tigers with help from Aiden Cawley (Chicago, IL). Max Stone (San Diego, CA) beat the goalie next, with the pass coming from Lars Schubert. Then in the second quarter, Tate Miller (San Anselmo, CA) shot and scored. After regrouping at half, Travis Hughes (Corte Madera, CA) found the back of the net with the assist from Cawley. As the Tigers started to find momentum, D. Miller scored, assisted by T. Miller. Then, Hughes scored his second goal of the game with help from Raul Rodriguez (Miami, FL). In the last quarter, Zane Derrod (Chula Vista, CA) shot and scored with the pass coming from Hughes on a powerplay. With less than a minute left in the game, Hughes added the last goal for the Tigers on a penalty shot conversion. On defense, the Tigers had six steals and drew eleven exclusions, Cawley drawing two. Final Score: 20-8 Redlands
