Los Angeles, CA — Men's basketball stayed unbeaten at home when they played Southern California Leadership University on Saturday night.Â
The Tigers jumped out to a 16-8 lead after five minutes of play, as they were creating good looks on offense and playing strong defense. A three-pointer from Aden Nolet and layups from Nick Hardin and Chase Miller extended Oxy's lead to 15.
The 1st half would close with Oxy leading by a score of 51-17. The Tigers would take control of the game in the 2nd half and win by a final score of 90-46.Â
It was a well-balanced effort for Oxy with Nick Hardin and Chase Miller leading the way with double-digit points each. Four other Tigers scored 8 points in the game and everyone was getting involved on the offensive end.Â
Jacob Hamermesh, Bernard Cassidy, Sloan Ireland and Chase Miller were all tied for the lead in rebounds in the game. Aryan Arora led Oxy on offense, finding a teammate to assist for a score 7 times.Â
Oxy will look to build on the success they had in this game in their next regular season game against Cal Miramar University on November 18th.
