Los Angeles, CA - In another extra-inning effort, Zada Day-Adams secured the win, pitching nine innings, allowing three hits and one run, and striking out eight batters. Alysha Wagner was solid at the top of the lineup with two hits and a walk. Five Tigers contributed one hit each, Jordan Lebsock, Audrey Krishnadasan, Katie Placensia, Philycia Pedrosa, and Ellery Mitchell. Pedrosa came up clutch to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th to force extra innings. Pinch-hitter Mitchell secured the walk-off win with her single in the bottom of the 9th, scoring Sam Palacio as the winning run.
Ellery Mitchell carried her momentum into game 2, pitching seven strong innings for the Tigers and driving in a run offensively. Wagner duplicagted her offensive efforts, also contributing two hits and a walk in game 2. Pedrosa and Sophia Sui collected one hit each, while Krishnadasan and Lebsock earned a hit and one RBI each. Kelsey McKenna had a hit and two RBI's in the game. The Tigers' comeback effort fell short, but it was a solid offensive fight that kept them in the game.
