Orange, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team went up against Chapman University on Wednesday for their second SCIAC matchup. The Tigers started off strong with Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) firing a lob into the cage. Then, Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) shot and scored, keeping the Tigers in the lead early on. Shortly after, Lipari struck again with a great shot over the goalie's head. In the second quarter, Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR) hit the back of the net. In the third quarter the Tigers battled it out but couldn't find a goal, yet in the fourth quarter they bounced back immediately. Butcher added two more back-to-back goals, one on a powerplay. Finally, Abby Anderson (Thousand Oaks, CA) scored from center. Defensively, the Tigers had nine steals, with Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) taking three. The Tigers also drew six exclusions. Final Score: 15-7 Chapman. 

Julia Bridges led Chapman with five goals.
