Claremont, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team faced Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday. The first quarter started off slow and the Tigers looked to gain momentum. In the second quarter, Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) converted a goal on a powerplay. Then, Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) struck with the assist awarded to Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR). Montgomery then scored with nine seconds left in the quarter on a powerplay, with the assist going to Miller. In the third quarter, Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) scored with help from Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) on a powerplay advantage. Defensively the Tigers had three steals, Butcher taking two. The Tigers also drew twelve exclusions, with Lin and Abby Anderson (Thousand Oaks, CA) drawing three each. Final Score: 21-4 PP.

Lulu Gaither and Mia Amberger led PP with three goals each.
