Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo played McKendree University in their second game of the Claremont Convergence Tournament. Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) shot and scored the first goal of the game on a powerplay. Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) followed with a strong goal. Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR) scored next on a powerplay with the assist credited to Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA). Shortly after, Miller found the back of the net again. In the third quarter, Butcher struck and scored again. Then, Lipari found her shot and beat the goalie. In the last quarter, Miller and Butcher fired their third goals of the game. Then, with one second left in the game, Ella Dunning (Chicago, IL) ripped a shot at the goalie and it slipped through their hands into the goal. On defense, the Tigers had five steals, Miller and Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) having two each, and drew sixteen exclusions. Final Score: 17-9 McKendree. 

Danielle Borelli led McKendree with four goals.
