Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo had a close game with Augustana University for their last game of the Claremont Convergence Tournament. Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) was the first to score with help from Olivia Montgomery (Eugene, OR). Then, Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) found her first goal of the game with help from Montgomery again. Butcher shot and scored again in the second quarter with the assist from Kayla Lin (Palo Alto, CA) and then they swapped with Lin scoring assisted by Butcher. Lipari found the back of the net next with help from Lin. Then, Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) added another goal to the scoresheet. Lipari was on fire, scoring her third goal of the game on a powerplay. With nineteen seconds left in the second quarter, Miller scored again. Lipari added her fourth goal of the game in the third quarter on a powerplay with assistance from Montgomery. Then, Abby Anderson (Thousand Oaks, CA) deposited a goal into the net with the assist awarded to Miller. With four seconds left in the game, Montgomery scored with help from Lipari. On defense, the Tigers drew eleven exclusions and had four steals, two of them from Miller. Final Score: 14-10 Augustana. 

Lauren Dickinson led Augustana with four goals.
