Redlands, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team went up against the Redlands Bulldogs on Wednesday night. Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) was the first to score for the Tigers with a nice shot assisted by Cate Sloat (Austin, TX). In the second quarter, Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) found her first goal of the game on a nearside skip with the pass from Miller. Then in the last possession of the first half, Lipari beat the goalie again with the assist going to Rebekah Harkins (Miami, FL). After battling back and forth in the third quarter, Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) deposited a shot into the cage on a powerplay with one second left. The assist was awarded to Lipari. On defense, the Tigers drew nine exclusions and had four steals. Final Score: 8-4 Redlands.

Emma Parker led the Bulldogs with four goals.
