Los Angeles, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team went up against the Augustana Vikings for the second time this season. Their last meet up was two weekends ago in Minnesota where the Tigers fell 12-5. Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) was the first to find the back of the net for the Tigers, with the pass coming from Claire Bricknell (Seattle, WA). Then, Koko Butcher (Honolulu, HI) scored with the assist from Bricknell again. In the second quarter, Lipari scored a beautiful goal with the pass coming from Butcher on a powerplay. With twenty seconds left in the first half, Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) tied the game at 4-4, with the assist awarded to Norah Ruvalcaba (Moreno Valley, CA). In the third, Butcher scored their second goal of the game with an assist from Bricknell. In the fourth, Miller beat the goalie with help from Rebekah Harkins (Miami, FL). As the game started to come to an end, the Tigers weren't done. Lipari and Butcher both scored their third goals of the game, with both assists coming from Bricknell. On defense, the Tigers drew nine exclusions, with Butcher and Harkins drawing three each. They also had eight steals, with goalie Alex Moye (San Diego, CA) stealing three. Final Score: 11-8 Augustana.

Charlotte Newport and Casey Barragan led the Vikings with two goals each.
