Macalester, MN — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team played the Augustana College Vikings for their first game of the second day at the Macalester Tournament. The first quarter started slow for the Tigers, but around halfway through, Bella Wilde (Eugene, OR) scored her first goal of the game on a powerplay. In the second quarter, Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) shot and scored for the Tigers, bringing them closer to the Vikings. Following shortly after, Wilde beat the goalie once again. The Tigers reset and regrouped at half, hoping to come into the third quarter stronger. Then, Wilde scored her third goal right off the bat. Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) followed with a converted penalty shot. Despite the Tigers' efforts, they weren't able to catch up to the Vikings. Final Score: 12-5 Augustana. 

Charlotte Newport led the Vikings with five goals.
