Orange, CA – In a nail-biting single-game clash on Friday, April 12, the Occidental softball team embarked on a journey to Orange, CA to face off against Chapman University.  The game ended up being characterized by defensive prowess and strategy considering each team was limited in hits.  Ultimately, it was the hosting Chapman Panthers with a narrow 1-0 victory.

Chapman wasted no time in making their march on the scoreboard, capitalizing on a first-inning opportunity to seize an early advantage.  A well-executed sacrifice fly to left field paved the way for an unearned run, providing the Panthers with the single point to clinch the game.
