Thousand Oaks, CA — The Occidental Women's Water Polo team played Cal Lu on Saturday. The Tigers went down by two goals in the first quarter, but didn't let that stop them from coming back. Marisa Lipari (Sunnyvale, CA) scored when she was up on a counter attack, with the pass coming from Cate Sloat (Austin, TX). In the third quarter, Jillian Miller (Irvine, CA) converted on a five-meter attempt. Then, Sloat beat the goalie on a beautiful shot on a powerplay, with the assist awarded to Tori Carlson (La Verne, CA). Following shortly after, Rebekah Harkins (Miami, FL) scored on a counter attack with the pass from Carlson. In the fourth quarter, the Tigers held Cal Lu to no goals. On defense, the Tigers drew five exclusions and two five meters. The Tigers also had eight steals, with goalie Alex Moye (San Diego, CA) taking three. Final Score: 7-4

Lauren Lohmeier led Cal Lu with three goals.
