Devin Bening was named SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday, October 27.

The SCIAC's leading goals scorer did not disappoint last week, helping the Tigers to a 2-0 record while netting three goals. His first came in a 4-1 win over Chapman, then to cap off the week, Bening scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Pomona-Pitzer, avenging a September 20 loss to the Sagehens.

Bening now has 11 goals on the season, the most in the conference and tied for 36
th in the nation.

Men's soccer and Bening are back in action on Wednesday, October 29 against Cal Lutheran. The Tigers' final home game of the season, they currently lead the SCIAC in points, but only five points separate them and the No. 8 seeded Caltech – some teams still with two games to play.
