MOORPARK, Calif. – Men's and Women's Golf competed at the Cal Lutheran Invitational from Monday, March 10 through March 11. The women finished third of seven, while the men placed 10
th of 14 participants.

Adam Elshamy headlined the tournament for the Tigers, tying for second place in a field of 80 golfers. The senior finished even, shooting one-under 71 in round one. He followed it up with a one-over 73 to close the tournament, but a birdie on 18 sealed the second-place finish.

On the women's side,
Kimi Arabe and
Rachel Aujero built off impressive performances at SCIAC #1, tying for fifth place on Tuesday. Arabe bounced back in round two after shooting an 11-over 83 on day one, leaping 13 spots with a four-over 76. She birdied six, nine and 11 and was even through 13.

Aujero began the tournament with a four-over 76, including an eagle on hole five, a 538-yard par five. She closed round two with an 83. The duo was the only pair of Division III golfers to finish inside the top five.

Men's golf is back in action on March 24-25 at the Sonoma State Invite, while women's golf takes on the UC Santa Cruz Invitational March 29-30.
