PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. – Women's golf competed at the UC Santa Cruz Invite from Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, March 29 at Pacific Grove Golf Links. The Tigers finished 10^th out of 12 teams competing – eight of them ranked ahead of the Tigers in the WGCA national rankings.
 
Rachel Aujero paced the Tigers with a +17, 159 across two rounds. The senior finished in 25^th, ahead of six ranked golfers. Aujero birdied three holes on the weekend.
 
Katie Leinwand and Kimi Arabe tied for 40^th. They each shot +24 on the weekend. Madeline Greene and Leila Moassessi placed fourth and fifth in the lineup. Greene shot 34-over and Moassessi finished 35-over par.
 
The Tigers are back in action next weekend at SCIAC #2. The event, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer, will be held at Antelope Valley Country Club in Palmdale, Calif.
