MOORPARK, Calif. – Men's and women's golf put together a great showing at the Cal Lutheran Invitational from March 16-17 at Moorpark Country Club.
 
The women finished second out of seven teams, while the men placed third out of nine. The men were only four strokes out of a tournament victory.
 
Rachel Aujero led all Tiger golfers, placing third, shooting a seven-over, 151. Aujero birdied par-five, hole five in both rounds, and made up a stroke in day two, shooting a birdie on hole two, which she shot a double-bogey on the day before.
 
On the men's side, Daniel Rowe and Hayden Thill led the way, shooting a four-over 148, tying for seventh overall. Rowe's tournament was highlighted with an eagle on hole five, at that point shooting two-under through the first four holes of his second round. While Thill was sharp on day one, finishing the round two-under, 70 with five birdies.

The women are back in action on March 28 for the UCSC Invite, while the men are off until SCIAC #2 on April 3-4.
