LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Junior midfielder Maeve Moylan has been selected to the IWLCA West All-Region Second Team after a strong campaign.
After Moylan's impressive season that saw her receive a First Team All-SCIAC selection for the 3rd consecutive year in her career at Oxy, the midfielder now receives further recognition that makes her eligible for selection to a national IWLCA All-American team.
The junior ranked within the top 10 in the SCIAC in goals, assists, caused turnover, ground balls and draw controls.
A force on defense for the Tigers, Moylan led the SCIAC in caused turnovers with 39 while also scoring 42 goals and dishing out 26 assists to total 68 points on the season. She also led the SCIAC in ground balls with 31.
Moylan also now holds the all-time draw control record for the Occidental program, totaling 296 in her career so far.
Her 42 goals this season put her over the 100 goal for her career, totaling 106.
