Nine selected as USTFCCCA All-Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Nine Tigers were named USTFCCCA All-Region West after impressive showings over the final stretch of the season.

MEN'S ALL-REGION RECIPIENTS

Kawakami-Williams and Stearns continue their seasons at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Kawakami-Williams sits at 21st in the nation in the 100 after running 10.46 two weeks ago. Stearns is in the same spot in the steeple. His sub-9-minute mark net him a trip to Geneva.
 
The SCIAC Champion in the long jump, Ames soared to new lengths at 7.22 at the APU Last Chance meet. Ames was three centimeters off of a trip to the nationals.
 
Buellesbach placed third in the conference in the 110 hurdles. The first year sat just outside the top 50 in the event.

WOMEN'S ALL-REGION RECIPIENTS

LeNay's season continues at the NCAA Championships. The junior, who's become a mainstay at the NCAA Cross Country National Championships, gets her first crack at the track. She's ranked 23rd in the nation and will run the event for the first time since April 18.
 
The group of Cottell, Way, Ogden and Hawley sit just outside the top 50 of all 4x4 relay teams in the nation. Their season best was 3:52.53 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite April 12.
 
As an individual, Hawley ranks 35th in the nation in the 400-meter dash. She ran sub-56 once in 2025 for a season-best 55.77 at the APU Last Chance meet. Her nationals-clinching 55.52 a year ago would have placed 29th of all runners this season.
