ORANGE, Calif. - Occidental Swimming & Diving took on Chapman on the road on Saturday, January 17. The men's team fell 229-59 and the women lost 213.5-77.5.

The Tigers were led by Violet Schultz in diving who picked up victories on the one-meter and three-meter boards. Schultz tallied 223.9 off the short board and 241.85 on the high dive.

Around the pool, the Tigers earned a plethora of second-place finishes. Connor Grant posted a season best 21.75 in a second-place finish in the 50 free. Hayden Hoover placed second in the 100 free with a time of 56.92. Katie Dannenbring earned second in the 200 breast (2:32.89), then tallied a personal best 26.44 in the 50 free. Elle Howson nearly placed first in the 100 breast, just .17 behind the victor.

The Tigers are back in action on January 31 after a week of, taking on Cal Lutheran during senior day.
