LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Anna Kim and Alysha Wagner were selected as Second Team All-SCIAC on Wednesday, May 6. Wagner wraps up a decorated career as a four-time All-SCIAC selection, while Kim earned her first collegiate all-conference honor.
 
Kim started in all 32 games she played in, sporting a .427 batting average overall and .400 in conference play, leading the team in both categories. Kim was fourth in the conference in batting average.
 
She led the Tigers in most offensive categories – hits, doubles, total bases, runs scored and stolen bases (a near-perfect 21-for-22). Kim improves her career batting average to .402 through 214 at bats in her career. Defensively, Kim made just one error in 70 total chances, throwing out four runners from center field.
 
Wagner, who earned her third-straight second team selection after receiving first-team honors as a first year, closed her career hitting .339 with 124 hits. As a senior, the shortstop hit .324 and a nearly identical .323 in SCIAC play, closing the year with a season-high eight game hitting streak.
 
She was one of the top defensive shortstops in the conference, making highlight-reel plays on a regular basis.
 
The Tigers finished the season with a sweep of Cal Lutheran and a final record 7-29 and 4-17 in SCIAC play.
