2015-16: First Team All-SCIAC... led the SCIAC in points per game at 19.9 ppg... Named SCIAC athlete of the week Feb 17th.... Started all 25 of Oxy's games... fourth in the SCIAC in minutes per game (35.4)... fifth in the SCIAC in 3-point shooting percentage (43 percent)... scored a career-high 28 points on Feb. 6... scored 20 or more points in 12 games... scored 27 points at Pomona-Pitzer on Jan. 23... Scored 26 at Whittier on Jan. 20 on 9 for 11 shooting from the field.
2014-15: Scored 5 points in 8 minutes played against Bethesda on Nov. 22...grabbed four points and scored three points in win against Caltech on Jan. 20... Scored 17 points on 6 of 12 shooting against Whittier on Jan. 24... scored 13 points and had 2 assists against La Verne on Feb. 5... scored a career-high 23 points and had 5 rebounds against Chapman on Feb. 7...score 14 points and grabbed three rebounds against Pomona-Pitzer on Feb. 10...scored 10 points with three rebounds, two assists, and two steals against UC Santa Cruz on Feb. 13...scored 14 points and dished out six assists with three rebounds at Whittier on Feb. 17.
2013-14: Played in 13 games and started 3 due to injuries. Averaged 8.7 points per game and was 4th on the team in field goal percentage... Made his collegiate debut in a 80-74 win at Caltech on Dec. 4 ... scored nine points in a 72-70 win over La Verne on Dec. 7 ... scored 12 points in a 81-74 win over Pacific Lutheran on Dec. 21 ... scored 14 points in 18 minutes off the bench in a 83-73 win over UC Santa Cruz on Dec. 22 ... had three points, two rebounds and three assists vs. Pacific (Ore.) on Dec. 17 ... High School: Attended La Verne Lutheran High School where he won two state championships...was named team captain junior and senior year... nominated CIF player of the year senior year... Jay was also student body president for his high school...member of the National Honor's Society as well as Presidents honor roll all four years.
