CLAREMONT — Claire Strohm led Oxy with 10 kills, and Amanda Herold and Cassandra Guidice each added eight as the Tigers bounced back from a loss earlier in the day to sweep Pacific (OR) 3-0 at the Claremont Colleges on Friday night.

Oxy hit .255 as a group, improving to 1-1 on the season.

Setters Tiareh Cruz and Sarah Beene each dished out 15 assists and libero Kandace Korver led with 17 digs. 

Tiare Kaopua led Pacific with 11 kills. 

Oxy lost its first match to Wis.-Stout.

The Tigers play two more matches at the Claremont College on Saturday. They open the day with New York University at 9 a.m. and then finish with St. Mary's (Md.) at 1:30 p.m.
