LOS ANGELES — Firsty year Elijah Havens scored four goals and Alex Marlott added three in the Occidental men's water polo team's homecoming game against Redlands on Saturday.

The Tigers fell 20-12.

Matt Weiser scored a pair of goals, and Brett Luch, Theo Bass and Leo Sonner each had one.

Havens also had three steals and three assists. Joseph Cox added three assists for Oxy.

Tanner Nickels played goalie for Oxy, making seven saves and two steals. 

Oxy had good movement on offense and played great halfcourt defense, but Redlands created a lot of opportunities off of its counter attack.

The Tigers had 12 6/5 opportunities and only converted five, while Redlands was 4 for 7.

Grant Curry scored a game-high six goals for the Bulldogs. 

The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday at La Verne at 4 p.m.
