LOS ANGELES — The Occidental women's volleyball team beat West Coast Baptist in straight sets on Tuesday, 25-17, 25-4, 25-6.

Sabrina Degnan led the way, showing off her power with a game-high 12 kills. The senior from Atascadero also had six digs and three aces.

Taylor Gorertta chipped in seven kills, Madelene Sellergren had six kills on .750 hitting, and Lauren Duffy and Jacqueline Rutherfurd added four kills for the Tigers. 

Oxy setter Lara Minassians dished out 27 assists in her first match back from injury.

Season Impact: Oxy improves to 3-3 on the season.

Next Match: The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, hosting Whittier in their first SCIAC match of the season at 2 p.m.
