Los Angeles, CA —  The Occidental Tigers showed up with a new fire last night. Coming out strong, the Tigers claimed a win in the first set (25-23). However, the Cal Lutheran Regals responded vigorously in the next set (25-20) and continued to take the game (25-9, 25-19). Even though it was a loss for the Tigers it was a great game!  The defensive line (Sydney Takauye, Kennedy Dirkes, Bethany Heitland, and Lizzy Kerman) deserves a spotlight in this game as they had some impressive digs. The work put in by this back line is unreal! The Tigers showed heart in this fight and we can't wait to see what they do next.
